A deposit is a transfer, not income. Cash in hand and bank balance both stay right, and the mode-wise figures always add up to the closing balance.

CGST and SGST within the state, IGST outside it, HSN codes, amount in words and a numbered series per financial year. Raising one records the receipt in the book for you.

Set it up in an evening
Say what trade you are in and the usual heads are already there. Add your outlets, your regular parties, and logins for the team — a cashier sees only their own entries, and only today's. Bring last year's book in from Excel if you have one.
Enter the day's cash
